ECOSPEED receives another award for data security
Following the first large-scale audit in the year 2015, data security at ECOSPEED was once again tested to the same extent this year. The commissioned TÜV TRUST IT GmbH group of companies TÜV AUSTRIA re-certified the software development process, thus confirming the security of the processes.
The user interface for ECOSPEED Region has been fully revised and extended to include valuable features.
Customers can look forward to a modern design and greatly improved usability, ensuring that work with the tool is more efficient and more pleasant! The aim in developing the new interface was to provide users with a simplified and intuitive navigation structure with a great many shortcuts – but as far as content is concerned, the software remains unchanged.
Official BISKO conformity for ECOSPEED Region Germany confirmed by ifeu Institute
The ifeu Institute has audited ECOSPEED Region as regards conformity with the standardized balancing system for local municipalities BISKO. The audit was successful and conformity with the BISKO standard was officially confirmed by the ifeu Insitute.
New ECOSPEED data subscription: Opening balance data for all 12,000 municipalities in Germany – other countries will follow!
In order to provide even better support for towns and municipalities in the area of data collection, ECOSPEED has developed the new feature "data subscription". The municipalities can use this service to source a variety of data that ECOSPEED obtains, prepares, and makes available to you automatically. The first data are already available.

The new scenario computation function enhances time-tested energy and CO2 balancing to include modeling and simulation of future developments. As a result, municipal climate protection plans can be created even more quickly and cost-effectively than before, while also guaranteeing a high level of quality and comparability.

After more than 10 years of success on the market, we have adapted our appearance to the current company values and the "look & feel" of our website and have modified our communication documents accordingly. The changes concern new imagery on the one hand, and a revised brand identity on the other.
Climate balance at one stop - Canton St.Gallen assumes a pioneering role in Switzerland
The Canton St.Gallen is providing its 77 local authorities with a unique service by sharing the specific canton and local authority climate data it has collected with its local authorities and offering them a low-cost link to the ECOSPEED Region software solution.
ECOPrivate completely revised
The present personal energy and CO2 calculation program ECOPrivate has become very widespread and highly regarded on the net - not least because it is also used for the '2000-Watt society'. The new version is to continue this recipe for success, enhanced with functions and requirements that were also suggested to us by the extensive user community. In collaboration with the Department of Health and Environment of the city of Zurich, ECOPrivate (new "ECOSPEED Private") has been completely revised and re-implemented. Energy region GOMS makes a contribution to climate protection - with deployment of the software ECORegion
The energy region GOMS is climate-friendly: this was determined in a survey in collaboration with Swiss Climate. By recording the CO2 footprint and implementing various measures to reduce CO2, the energy region GOMS is assuming a pioneering role among tourism regions.
